Literature Text

Those angels that I can't see,
They are the angels that come for me,
They cry and weep in the form of stone,
They will act in ways unknown,
When you blink or look away,
The ultimate price, you might just pay,
So know and make this memory,
For this might be the end of me.
This all started out as a dream, a dream that actually included the start of this poem itself. In the dream, the weeping angels were out to get me, I was trapped in an apartment, I could hear one of the younger angels back and forth across the air vent above, I was looking at the barricaded door knowing one was out there. And in the sequence, this came out. It chilled me to the bone as I finished it.
